The ‘Buckie Coasters’ (JS Buckie Juniors) was formed by Morag Mair from Findochty following her own enthusiasm for running in the JS Buckie and JS Fochabers groups. In setting up the junior group, Morag was joined by fellow JS leaders from Buckie, Diane Gilbertson, Heather Goodall and Morag Nye, plus a small army of local helpers.

Keith Fun Run June 2009

The Buckie Coasters took part in the fun run held at the Keith Comminity centre organised by Susan Johnson on Monday night June 29th . The weather was kind and the rain held off giving the junoirs a night to remember. The course was well marked out and marshalled by Keith runners. The course was a mixture of on and off road and posed little problems for Brodie Christie first boy Georgie Cowie first girl. All runners received a certificate with their run time so that they can compare with next years run which will be held on the same route.
