This is a flat circular route, all on pavements so suitable for wheelchairs and
buggies. The Sensory Garden in Orchard Road is worth a short stop to smell the
aromatic plants. There is a bench there and also one in front of the Leisure Centre.
Toilets are in the Health Centre and Leisure Centre, when open.
You can extend this walk to include Sanquhar Loch.
- Start: Health Centre on Strathcona Road
From the Health Centre, turn left then right along Kings Way
to the junction with Orchard Road.
Turn left into Orchard Road past Applegrove School, right along
Sanquhar Road and then right in front of the Leisure Centre.
Take the path on the right by the side of Roysvale Park,
past the tennis courts.
Rejoin Orchard Road and walk back
to the Health Centre.
