Volunteer Health Walk Leaders are required to lead short, social, low-level walks as part of the WalkMoray programme, which aims to support adults to become more active.

2011 Six Harbours Walk
Buckie Rotary Club backed Six Harbours Walk and Cycle, now its 13th year,between Portsoy and Buckie (c.14 miles) on Sun 1 May 2011. More details available on www.rotary-ribi.org
Moray Summer Challenge (Jan 11)
This year's 5k Summer Challenge took place for the first time in Keith at 11.00am (10.45am for walkers) on Sun 12 June. A 1.5k route was also available for the Under 14s (note: U8s require supervision). Both routes included uphill and downhill gradients, but proved suitable for walkers, joggers, and runners of all abilities. Proceeds went to local charities.

Moray 5k Winter Challenge>>
Walk your way around our winter 5k challenge event, which is taking place for the first time in Fochabers on the morning of Sun 6 Dec 09. The route starts and finishes in the historic landscaped private gardens of the Gordon Castle Estate and is ideal for participants of all levels (age 16+). This year's event, hosted by JS Fochabers and Spey Runners, is in aid of Children First.
